These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Rydar mobile application, website, related services, ride-hailing platform, support tools, verification tools, wallet/ledger features, bonus features, and related services.
1. Effective date: 18 May 2026. These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Rydar mobile application, website, related services, ride-hailing platform, support tools, verification tools, wallet/ledger features, bonus features, and any related digital or operational service provided under the Rydar name.
2. By installing, opening, registering, logging in, booking a ride, accepting a ride, going online as a driver, submitting verification information, using wallet/bonus features, or otherwise using Rydar, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions, the Privacy Policy, and all applicable platform rules.
3. Rydar is a technology platform that connects passengers and drivers. Rydar is not itself a transport operator, taxi company, vehicle owner, employer of drivers, travel agent, insurance company, emergency service, ambulance service, bank, or financial institution unless expressly stated in writing.
4. A ride contract is formed between the passenger and the driver when a driver accepts the passenger's ride request or agreed ride offer through the Rydar platform. Rydar provides the technology, matching, fare calculation, records, support, safety controls, and platform administration.
5. You must be legally capable of entering into a binding arrangement under applicable law. Minors may use Rydar only through, under the supervision of, or with the consent of a parent, guardian, school, institution, or lawful responsible person where applicable.
6. You must provide true, complete, current, and verifiable information during registration, login, role activation, verification, support, payment, complaint, and account-deletion processes. False, misleading, duplicate, impersonated, or incomplete information may result in rejection, restriction, suspension, or termination.
7. Each person may maintain only the account(s) and role(s) allowed by Rydar policy. Rydar may restrict duplicate accounts, linked devices, suspicious devices, fake identities, shared accounts, account rentals, account sales, or any other misuse of account access.
8. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials, phone, email, device, OTP, password, and account access secure. Any activity performed through your account may be treated as your activity unless Rydar determines otherwise after review.
9. Rydar may apply one-device, device-change, login-verification, session-validation, security-alert, or re-authentication rules to protect passengers, drivers, and the platform from unauthorized access or misuse.
10. Passengers must enter accurate pickup and drop-off information, review the available ride options, confirm the fare or fare estimate, be available at the pickup point, behave respectfully, pay the applicable fare and charges, and avoid misuse of cancellation, complaint, bonus, or wallet features.
11. Drivers must hold all documents, licenses, permits, fitness, registration, insurance, roadworthiness, safety equipment, and legal permissions required for the vehicle and service they provide. Rydar verification does not transfer legal responsibility away from the driver.
12. Drivers must use only the verified and approved vehicle selected in the Rydar app, must keep vehicle information accurate, must not allow another person to use their driver account, and must not accept rides using an unapproved, unsafe, illegal, or incorrectly declared vehicle.
13. Drivers are independent service providers and are not employees, agents, legal representatives, or partners of Rydar merely because they use the platform. Drivers are responsible for their own conduct, taxes, vehicle expenses, legal compliance, and ride-service obligations.
14. Ride availability, vehicle categories, service areas, operating hours, fare products, negotiation options, dispatch rules, driver eligibility, passenger eligibility, pickup distance rules, and platform-fee rules may vary by city, area, time, admin setting, user status, and operational policy.
15. Rydar may use GPS, maps, route calculations, geocoding, operating-area polygons, driver availability data, and other technical signals to estimate distance, time, fare, ETA, pickup point, route, and driver-passenger matching. These values may be approximate and may differ from real road conditions.
16. Fare shown before booking may be an estimate, preview, negotiated amount, or system-calculated amount depending on the ride mode and applicable settings. Final fare may be affected by distance, time, waiting, route change, cancellation, early finish, manual finish, platform fee, discounts, bonuses, wallet adjustment, taxes, or other applicable charges.
17. Where fare negotiation is enabled, the passenger and driver may send, accept, reject, or counter an offer within the platform rules. Once an offer is accepted, both parties must honour the accepted ride arrangement unless cancellation, safety, legal, or operational reasons justify otherwise.
18. Payment may be made through cash, wallet, bonus, credit, vendor recharge, or any other method enabled by Rydar. Availability of a payment method does not create any right to withdrawal, transfer, refund, or cash conversion unless expressly allowed by Rydar policy.
19. The Rydar wallet or ledger is a platform record for ride payments, driver balances, passenger balances, platform fees, adjustments, and operational settlements. It is not a bank account, mobile wallet, deposit account, investment account, or stored-value banking product unless separately licensed and declared.
20. Rydar may debit, credit, adjust, reverse, freeze, verify, or correct wallet/ledger entries where required for completed rides, platform fees, refunds, duplicate payments, fraud prevention, complaint resolution, admin correction, legal compliance, or technical error correction.
21. Bonus, referral credit, promotional credit, vouchers, discounts, or campaign benefits are promotional only. They are not cash, not salary, not commission, not refundable, not transferable, not saleable, and not encashable unless Rydar expressly states otherwise in a written campaign policy.
22. Rydar may set campaign limits, beneficiary limits, expiry periods, fraud controls, ride-eligibility rules, usage caps, area limits, role limits, and budget limits for bonuses and promotions. Rydar may reject, reverse, expire, withdraw, or suspend promotional benefits in case of misuse, fake rides, duplicate accounts, referral abuse, cancellation abuse, or policy breach.
23. Users must allow required permissions such as location, notifications, camera, and internet access where these permissions are necessary for ride booking, driver online mode, live ride tracking, verification, safety, support, or platform functionality. Refusal of necessary permissions may limit or block some features.
24. Rydar uses foreground and, where approved and enabled, background location for driver availability, receiving ride requests while a driver is on duty, active ride tracking, pickup/drop-off guidance, safety review, area eligibility, route/fare estimation, and dispute or complaint review. Background location is intended for driver-duty and active-ride functionality, not unnecessary tracking.
25. Rydar may collect and process account data, phone/email data, profile data, ride data, location data, verification documents/images, device/session data, wallet/ledger data, complaints, support messages, and safety records as explained in the Privacy Policy available at https://rydar.pk/privacy-policy/.
26. Rydar uses camera access for identity, face, CNIC or ID document, driving license, character certificate, vehicle document, vehicle photo, and other verification or support captures. These captures are used for account safety, fraud prevention, driver/passenger verification, complaint review, legal compliance, and manual or automated review.
27. AI, OCR, face detection, document-reading, image-quality scoring, risk scoring, or automated assistance features may support verification and safety review. Such tools may make mistakes; Rydar may use manual review, resubmission, rejection, approval, or additional checks where required.
28. Verification, approval, scoring, provisional eligibility, or document acceptance by Rydar does not guarantee that a user, driver, vehicle, document, or ride is legally compliant, safe, error-free, or suitable in every circumstance. Users remain responsible for their legal obligations and real-world conduct.
29. Users must not harass, threaten, abuse, discriminate, stalk, defame, assault, endanger, deceive, exploit, record unlawfully, share private information unlawfully, damage property, carry illegal items, use the platform for crime, or behave in any unsafe, unlawful, or disrespectful manner.
30. Passengers and drivers must not request, offer, or complete rides outside the Rydar platform to avoid platform fees, safety records, verification rules, or complaint handling. Off-platform arrangements are at the users' own risk and may result in account restriction.
31. Drivers must not drive under the influence of alcohol, drugs, intoxicants, unsafe medication, extreme fatigue, or any condition that affects safe driving. Passengers must not pressure drivers to drive dangerously, violate traffic rules, overload the vehicle, or take unsafe routes.
32. All users must follow applicable traffic laws, transport rules, municipal rules, tax rules, payment laws, cybercrime laws, privacy laws, and all other laws of Pakistan or the relevant jurisdiction where the service is used.
33. Rydar may provide safety tools, live tracking, emergency/support options, contact options, complaint tools, verification controls, and risk alerts. These tools are supportive only and do not replace police, Rescue 1122, medical emergency services, family guardians, or lawful authorities.
34. In an emergency, accident, threat, medical issue, crime, harassment, or immediate danger, users should first contact the appropriate emergency service, police, Rescue 1122, hospital, family, or local authority. Rydar support may assist but cannot guarantee emergency response.
35. Rides may be cancelled by passengers, drivers, or Rydar according to applicable cancellation rules. Cancellation fees, account warnings, reduced eligibility, or review may apply in case of repeated, abusive, late, fake, or bad-faith cancellations.
36. If a ride starts but ends early due to passenger request, driver issue, safety concern, vehicle problem, route issue, mutual decision, accident, emergency, or any other reason, Rydar may record early finish/manual finish and may apply platform-fee, fare, settlement, and complaint-review rules according to the applicable policy.
37. Waiting time, no-show situations, incorrect pickup, unreachable passenger, unreachable driver, route deviation, extra stop, luggage issue, vehicle mismatch, payment dispute, or conduct complaint may be reviewed by Rydar using app records, location records, ride status, messages, support records, and available evidence.
38. Rydar may suspend, restrict, deactivate, remove, block, or terminate any account, vehicle, role, wallet feature, bonus feature, verification status, or access where Rydar believes there is fraud, safety risk, legal risk, policy breach, false information, abuse, non-payment, harassment, repeated complaint, or platform misuse.
39. Rydar may refuse, delay, or condition service where operational areas are inactive, drivers are unavailable, location services are disabled, verification is incomplete, documents are pending, internet is unavailable, system maintenance is in progress, payment/ledger rules block access, or admin policy restricts access.
40. Rydar may send operational notifications, ride alerts, verification messages, security alerts, payment/ledger alerts, support messages, campaign messages, and policy updates through the app, notification system, SMS, phone, email, website, or other contact method allowed by law and user settings.
41. The app may contain links to Rydar's website, privacy policy, account-deletion page, support page, map/navigation tools, payment tools, or other third-party services. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices where applicable.
42. Rydar owns or lawfully uses the app name, software, designs, text, logos, icons, workflows, screens, databases, platform logic, documents, and other intellectual property. Users may not copy, reverse engineer, resell, modify, scrape, misuse, or commercially exploit the platform except as allowed by Rydar.
43. Users must not attack, overload, hack, tamper with, bypass, reverse engineer, scrape, fake GPS, manipulate ride status, manipulate fare, manipulate wallet, create fake rides, use bots, interfere with dispatch, or use any unauthorized tool against Rydar systems.
44. Rydar may update, modify, add, remove, pause, replace, or discontinue any feature, screen, fare product, service area, operating time, eligibility condition, verification requirement, promotion, wallet rule, or support process for operational, legal, safety, business, or technical reasons.
45. Rydar may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the app after updated terms are shown, published, notified, or made available means you accept the updated terms, unless applicable law requires a different consent process.
46. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rydar is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, exemplary, or consequential losses; loss of profit; business interruption; device failure; internet failure; map error; third-party service issue; user misconduct; driver/passenger conduct; traffic delay; accident; or force-majeure event.
47. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Where liability cannot be excluded, Rydar's liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law and the facts of the relevant case.
48. You agree to indemnify and hold Rydar, its owners, officers, staff, contractors, partners, and service providers harmless from claims, losses, penalties, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your misuse, unlawful conduct, false information, breach of terms, ride conduct, vehicle issue, payment dispute, or violation of law.
49. Account deletion may be requested inside the app or at https://rydar.pk/account-deletion/. Rydar may retain limited data where required for safety, fraud prevention, dispute handling, completed ride records, tax/legal compliance, accounting, security, or lawful business purposes as explained in the Privacy Policy.
50. For support, complaints, privacy questions, account-deletion requests, or legal notices, use the support page at https://rydar.pk/support/ or email support@rydar.pk. Website: https://rydar.pk/.
51. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws applicable in Pakistan, unless a mandatory law of another jurisdiction applies. Disputes shall first be raised through Rydar support for review, evidence collection, and amicable resolution where possible.
52. By continuing, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions, the Privacy Policy, the account deletion process, the permission disclosures, and the operational rules applicable to your role as passenger, driver, or any other Rydar user.
